What do I do with Ostomy Supplies I no longer need?

Post by MaryPat59 »

I have a lot of supplies from Hollister barrier rings, flanges and bags that I would like to donate to someone or some non-profit group that could use them. Does anyone have any ideas where I could send them?

Thank you for your input.

I donated mine to a long term care facility...they can sterilize them with a UV light and were very thankful to get them. The wound and ostomy clinic at the hospital where I had my surgery would have taken them too. They edp like to have extra for the teaching packets.

I give mine to a wound care nurse at a local hospital. The hospital only buys basic, once size fits all material and she can use donated stuff to help people having problems find the right equipment.
