Phoenix Magazine

Post by To Dream a Dream »

Besides the regular departments, this latest edition provides us with a number of practical articles (How to Order Supplies, Finding a Patient Advocate and Ostomy Hygiene--to name a few) that will refresh our own experiences & offer new insights as we contend with the pandemic restrictions. The Beryl of Wisdom column opens up a whole new area of professional ostomy help by introducing the major aspects of Using Telemedicine. A valuable resource for anyone like myself who has little experience with virtual technology. Ostomy Supply Heroes is an excellent article that addresses a need that has frequently appeared on our discussion board. That of finding affordable supplies. And listing Ostomy 2-1-1, Ostomy Supply Exchange, Kindred Box and Osto Group as possible sources. Once again Publisher Ian Settlemire and his team have produced a highly effective tool to further the cause of ostomy education.
