Main surgery in 06/2019; reversal surgery 12/2019. Had problem with scare tissue obstructing my intestine; so I had surgery on 7/2020 to clear obstruction. Recovery went well until September 2020. I started having weekly painful spasms that lasted about 6 hours even with medication. Had ct scan with contrast in 11/2020 and surgeon found no problems; he said my right side appeared swollen, and prescribed medication. I still get the painful spasms but mostly like every two weeks. Feels like trapped air in the middle section of my stomach mostly behind my navel. I can even hear a gurgling sound. If anyone has has similar symptoms, I would like to know what it is and how to remedy it. I’ve been thinking about going to another specialist. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to our discussion board. I have had similar symptoms with partial obstructions. A warm heating pad has helped. But please, don't hesitate to contact a specialist for a second opinion. During this pandemic, it is best to plan ahead.
