Oatmeal, Blood and Hold Times

Helluva subject line, eh?
Didn’t even touch on the fact I spent two weeks out of town for an emergency. The first week visiting my mother while she awaited surgery and planned her rehab, the second week arranging her funeral. Bad time.
So today I’m back home and have my usual breakfast the past several months - oatmeal and peanut butter. Except what happens, maybe from heat wave, maybe from not having had it, maybe from stress, is that oatmeal blows out ostomy- twice! So I’ve had three changes counting regularly scheduled one this morning and I can now see skin bleeding a little under tape barrier.
Meanwhile, I’m also trying to reorder supplies. But since work changed my insurance, I have to call my supplier to give them new insurance number. Extended wait times. I call three times - once to put in a number for a callback I never got, once to be disconnected, and third time worked.
A few more days like this and I can retire at 70 while only being 55…
