I'm having a difficult finding a decent nursing home in Southeastern Michigan that is good with ileostomy care/preventing leaks by keeping up with emptying the pouch. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your post which reflects the needs of many of us. If you haven't succeeded in finding help thru your medical team, hospital social services or home health services, please consider contacting your state representatives. Hopefully, they will be aware of the ongoing medical needs of their constituency & can provide info on local resources. If not, they should be & your situation may bring a vital issue to their attention.
