Stealth belt question

Post by JimPops1 »

Hi. I am new to this msg board, recovering after total collectomy with ileostomy on March 2.
Things are going fine and I am considering buying a stealth belt to feel more comfortable/confident at doctor’s, dentist’s appointments, exercising, etc.
Wondering if this is a good choice or if there is something better on the market.
Also, a horizontal belt seems a little odd to me. Is the vertical option just as good?
Thanks for being here! This msg board is a great resource.

I use the Stealth Belt on certain occasions, most recently for a two-hour dentist appointment. They were recommended to me by the hospital nurses following surgery. It increases my confidence level somewhat and adds to comfort as well. I was once a lap swimmer but haven’t dared use this in a pool.

Thanks! I plan on using the stealth belt in much the same way.

I only use the vertical option (I've used both) - much more logical to me for comfort and emptying.
