Stage 4 Bladder Cancer - 9 Years Later

Subject line tells my story... Like most I spent several months after the surgery trying sample bags and flanges to come up with one that worked, and I have setteled in and been using Conva Tec for the entire time without problems.
I have had 3 or so UTI's over the years that were taken care of with antibiiotcs but did wind up in the ER due to blood loss twice... This last episode may have started as a UTI, but I now have a bleeding problem at the area where my stoma is attached to the surface skin... It will bleed a few days then clear up for a few days. Doctor wants to watch it and see if it get's better, but it scares me.
I don't fel like this is normal for a uoristomy patient loosing this much blood. I have not needed a transfusion, but my red blood count has been down on the verge every time I wind up in the hospital...
Can this be sewn back up, or will it just take care of itself?
