My most agreeable illeostomy diet

This is a very short list of the most agreeable meals for an illeostomy I've experienced that may help others get started especially novices or for someone cooking for a disabled person.

It's designed to avoid issues and for nutrition with the fortified cereal w/milk, carbs, protein and iron. Packed with energy as to keep portions small to minimize output. Easy on the body as well as the bag.

This is a ONLY list, foods not on it may cause issues.

Rice Chex or Rice Krispies with low fat milk (may produce a little gas)

Overeasy or Sunnyside up eggs with two small sausage links, skinless regular potatoes, plain French toast or regular toast.

Creamy peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. All natural, with NO artificial flavors, added sugar or salts.

Chicken or Turkey only finely shredded with mayo sandwich on soft regular wheat or white toasted bread.

Cheddar cheese slices (real cheese, not processed cheese food) with mustard on regular soft white or wheat bread.

Macaroni and cheese (about 2-3 cups)

Cooked Pasta with melted butter (no olive oil) or a very minimal amount of plain, marinara or meat sauce with no veggie chunks.

Maria Calendars Swedish Meatballs & Pasta (no mushrooms or other veggies) about 2-3 cups.

Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes (no chunks or skins), with butter or low-fat gravy and no veggie chunks (like onions or mushrooms)

Veggies or fruit only as a juice.

A cup of plain vanilla ice cream with no nuts etc.

Drinks: Water or low/no fat milk. A small glass of orange juice or apple juice.

This list above was narrowed down from these other, more broader lists by personal experience.
