Yep it's been three years since my surgery and illeostomy for peritoneal mestophillamona as I refused any further treatment and was told I was going to die in less than 6 months.

Well I didn't die and concentrated on keeping a good bag with no leaks, tailored my diet, nutrition and rehydration to fit my new illeostomy life perfectly as I can. My skin tone looks wonderful, I can gain weight and even do a little gym and pool exercise.

Definitely not looking or feeling like I'm dying of cancer but thought so on account of previously poor ostomy management. Seems nobody knows what the heck they are doing or giving out detailed advice, I had to learn everything on my own.

So now I suspect I don't have it and insist the new oncologist ensure it really is cancer before anything so tomorrow I get my first CT scan in three years and if it's still there then it will show up. If not then it was something else (like an infection that mimicks cancer) and it's all been healed up now.

Of course I could still have trace amounts of it but it's not doing anything as the bulk of it was taken out in my first (and only) surgery.

So wish me luck! Tomorrow is a big day!

Blood work came up good
Kidneys fine

CT scan shows some fluid buildup and they want to draw some out to test. Then they want to take a biopsy then start chemo if everything is bad which they are convinced it is and I'm convinced it's not as I've had about zero symptoms of this type of cancer. Just 1, the chest swelled up which could be from anything. But it's since subsided since surgery taking out some intestines and colon. Three years just fine when they told me without further treatment I had less than a year to live. I proved them wrong.

They keep going on about past pathology from MLabs like it's irrefutable..but this type of cancer is difficult to diagnose and it's rare as well..they have their own pathology so we will see what we see.

I just feel at this point they are in big hurry to do major surgery.

Keeps coming around to the same old same old. Let's just start cutting this guy open and take stuff out.
