Hi Guys,

I'm now using GoodSearch.com to search the Internet. Every time I do, money goes to support my favorite cause, the United Ostomy Associations of America. I hope you'll give it a try and support the the UOAA, too.

The site is powered by Yahoo, so you'll get the same quality search results that you're used to. What's unique is that they have developed a way to direct money to our non-profit of choice with every click.

The more people who use this site, the more money will go to support UOAA and ostomates. So please spread the word to your friends and family.

The site even gives you the option to download the Good Search engine right into your toolbar!

I just went there and entered UOAA and typed in a search for "home remedies for gas" and found some helpful info. I`m having a terrible time with gas.
For example it said to chew a tablespoon of fennel seeds after meals to avoid gas and bloating. I`m gonna give it a try.
Or chew on fresh ginger slices soaked in lime juice.
Or chewing a spoonful of celery seeds.

As Steve wrote, this is a good thing. The way it works, as explained on their About page, is that GoodSearch gives charities 50% of the advertising revenues earned when people click the "Sponsor Results" returned in searches. Before using GoodSearch, you need to go to their home page at www.goodsearch.com and fill in the "Who do you GoodSearch for?" box illustrated in the screen capture below:

If you type UOAA and click Verify, the display should change to:

Alternatively, if you go to their home page using the URL:
http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=826011
UOAA will be filled in automatically.

Once you've specified UOAA as your desired charity, you can use the tools on page
http://www.goodsearch.com/toolbars.aspx
to add GoodSearch to your browser's toolbar to simplify searching with it. The following screen captures show the Firefox and Safari browsers with GoodSearch added to the built-in search box in the upper right corner:

and you can do the same with IE 7. If you're using IE 6, which doesn't have a built-in search box, you can add a new toolbar for searching with GoodSearch.
