UOAA Discussion Board

Hello, I had an Indiana Pouch put in about two years ago, everything has been going pretty much okay. I now need to have a Colonoscopy done. Does the Indiana Pouch complicate that any? I guess the colon is shorter. The doctor performing it is aware of my pouch.

Anyone have a colonoscopy with an Indiana Pouch. I guess I am just nervous about them "poking around in there" when everything seems to be working well again!

I have an Indiana pouch and have had several colonoscopies with it. There are no problems whatsoever Sorry you have a prep yuk! Good luck. Judith
