I have a question- if a person has their bladder and urethra
removed d/t interstitial cystitis and the surgeon leaves the urinary meatus, could this be the cause of remaining urgency for the patient? If anyone knows the answer please let me know. Thanks, Aileen

It will be a year on nov 27 i was recovering from another major surgery and going thru my second round of chemo and the doc said it was easier to do this then take the bladder out also i had alot of radiation to that area which resulted in the holes in the bladder as well as alot of other scar tissue and damage from it so i think this was also the safest
