Someone with a history of ulcerative colitis is in a major Golf channel elimination competition called "Big Break Prince Edward island"- though he is from the US and lives in Pennsylvania. This article doesn't say he has a continent diversion, but from the description he must have something like a J-pouch:

I'm not into golf so I haven't heard about this show on the Golf channel before, but guess we'd better cheer him on

I can't imagine trying to play even 9 holes of golf with a resection and straight reconnect - there would have to be incredible sphincter control!!
