hello. Its 7years since I had my large intestine, rectum and anus removed with my bum being sewn up. Generally things are fine. I dont jog or run ever really as I dont like to, but I went for a jog recently and my bum cheeks at the bottom (where they meet) were really sore a couple of days later and still are 5 days later.
I had something similar last year after a trampoline park.
I'm thinking its because they way i was sewn up means my cheeks are closer together and so rub more but wondered if anyone else has this?

Re: Sore bum cheeks after exercise (I have no anus)
I had the same surgery (and more) in 2018. The skin where the sutures were is very thin and often dry -- although I'm a woman and lacking estrogen at this point. I was told that if the area became chafed to use Desitin where the surgery was. A&D ointment also works well. You just want to keep the area lubricated to avoid any tearing or further chafing of the skin.
Hope this helps and if not, I recommend that you see your surgeon or another doctor to determine the reason for the chafing and pain.
Good luck!

Thanks. I went for a long walk yesterday and my cheeks bled. Really annoying
