"Tips for Coping in a Crisis" via UOAA

Post by To Dream a Dream »

Have been noticing the lack of activity on our Discussion Board & wonder if anyone else has been feeling bad side effects from our uncertain stressful times. Thanks to our UOAA website, https://www.ostomy.org/tips-for-coping-in-a-crisis/, I have received a real boost to my own lagging spirits. With special thanks to Amber Wallace & Dr. Paul Wischmeyer for this link. And in deep gratitude for having been led to finding it. May it bless many out there in need of encouragement.

Thanks for posting the link, "To Dream." I think this is a strange time. After an election -- but (without getting political here) -- still issues to be solved and some uncertainty in the air among some folks. And the lousy news that Covid is on the rise. :( Good news about the vaccine though. This time of year may bring pretty leaves but I dislike the short days and darkness. I'm ready for spring already! I heard our winter near DC should be mild and fingers are crossed!

I'm busy caring for my mother (though lucky to see her although apt visits were canceled) and working on other things. Bought some new enzymes to add to my doctor's prescription for Zenpep which is amylase and other enzymes because my pancreas isn't absorbing fats. Clueless how I got this condition (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) but not overjoyed. Aiming to hydrate and EXERCISE more! I've been repeating that for years.

Wishing you and others well.
