JJ,
In reference to your question, the banning of someone is not something that is done lightly. This is something that takes great consideration and is not done often.
If there is question as to the rules and guidelines of the board, please review (as one should from time to time) the Discussion Board Code of Conduct. The URL for that is : http://www.uoaa.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=4 Yes, there has been someone banned from the board, this becomes necessary at times. As moderators/Administrators, we try to keep a safe, friendly, and helpful environment for all to come and feel that they can get the support they are seeking. When this becomes an issue and the Code of Conduct is , repeatedly, violated then the person who is violating it will get a warning. If that warning is not noted, then it will result in a ban.
