Flax seeds in granola

Post by Luv2Sew »

It's been nine years since my emergency colostomy surgery (diverticulitis, ruptured colon) and I have been free from any more diverticulitis attacks. The surgeon mentioned I still had pouches in my remaining colon, so I've been avoiding seeds and nuts. I bought some granola, nut free, but loaded with little dark flax seeds! They look hazerdous! Does anyone have problems with fax? I'm beginning to feel like I'm missing out on yummy foods because I'm too cautious. I ate a.little bowl, now waiting to get sick!

I told my doctor I ate one nut in nine years but it was a macadamia nut covered in dark chocolate, and realized I just be crazy! I do eat nut butters.
