Urostomy shower ideas

The nurse at convatec told me I could use my appliance for four days before I need to change it.
I like to shower every day.
What is the best way to shower with my appliance on without messing it up?
I’ve tried tapeing a plastic bag over it but that doesn’t work
Any good ideas

I do not have a urostomy, but use a Sure Seal Ring by Active Lifestyle Products Inc. over my ConvaTec moldable wafer. I order them thru Parthenon out in Utah.

Is your appliance coming loose when it gets wet? I shower everyday with my appliance on. I don't cover it with anything. It's waterproof going both directions...
Now, if you were soaking in a bath, you might have more issues, but again, I routinely don't wear anything around my appliance when I swim, scuba dive, shower, etc. With the exception of the week I go to the beach for vacation, then I invest in the Sureseals. They help keep my appliance nice and secure when they are getting a lot of "abuse" by being submerged many hours a day while at the beach!
I have a small wash cloth that I dry off the appliance when I get out of the shower, and then I go on my way. You should be able to as well.

I shower daily and it seems the hot water actually makes the wafer adhere better, After showering I dry the system as best I can with a towel and follow up with a hair dryer on warm setting then put on the Nu Hope hernia belt. I an a colostomate not a Uro but the flange should work the same way...
