Ambulance Charge

I recently requested, and had an ambulance take me to a hospital for treatment of an ileostomy blockage. Medicare denied paying the claim because it did not meet its required level of urgency. i had not requested my doctor's prior approval because she is not involved in any way my ostomy care. I just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I just had to be put in it last June
Not sure about the charge.
But it sounds like it might be possible.
Let us know if "permission" from the Dr us needed
