Are there wound care experts or professionals offering consultations for the placement or engineering of a colostomy solution?

The ostomy is in an awkward location (upper abdomen), which in combination with the concave shape of the abdomen (due to previous surgeries) often compromises the seal on the colostomy. Doctors have referred us to wound care nurses, and we have found a nurse who has tried a few different approaches, and I see people sharing their ideas here too about different products & strategies to prevent leaks. However, given actors & athletes live with ostomies, I would be most grateful if there was a place to go to find and try custom solutions - even if it requires creatvie engineering, custom devices etc.

I would appreciate any direction you can give me!
